About Mindground
We want to see a society where everyone can access mental health care. So Mindground aims to make mental care more accessible to reduce risk and prevent the onset of mental disorders.
Mindground now consists of two products:
The first, An interactive site on LINE platform which allows users to vent and release bad feeling they hold in their mind by defining their feeling, reaction, and thought into words, leading cognitive thinking process following the journey and finishing by giving empowerment to create self-support. We launched our first interactive mind exercise to test our assumption that people still require more mental support tools or services beyond treatments from psychologists with high costs.
Another one is “Mind Listening,” a psychological first aid method that was redesigned to fit with Thai culture and implemented as an online service in order to make it easy to access, with affordable prices for every mental health status. At the same time, Mindground also hosts online courses for people who want to work as Mind Listener and earn money on our platform

"Self Compassion"
We started from our shared interest.
Researched a variety of issues related to "self-compassion" and discuss with the team to pinpoint some aspects in order to develop experiments and research methods.

From the brainstorming sessions, we captured 2 keywords.
1. Happiness in pocket
2. Self-reflection
Mini Experiments
Group Diary
we setup 3 groups of people to share their daily happiness in pockets for 7 days
Sharing in club house
Set up clubhouse to gather randomly friends to share the lovely things that happened today.
Buddy Diary
Gade, one of my anonymous buddies, and I decided to continue with this routine for an entire year.
We interviewed with our participants to clarify their thoughts and insights after the completion of each small experiment. We had a large discussion gathering to gain feedback on each experiment, and the feedback revealed some unexpected challenges. Even the experiment itself seems to be a positive endeavor. However, we also heard a lot about stress and negative emotions that they can't handle. They admitted that these emotions make it difficult to maintain good behaviors or concentrate on positive things on those days. So we decide to learn more about "how to cope with emotions."
We read some books. One of the most favorite books of us is Emotional Agility: Get Unstuck, Embrace Change and Thrive in Work and Life by Susan David Ph.D., a psychologist. The book talks about how to face your emotions and accept them to reconcile with your inner self. The book gave us a lot of creative ideas. Then we decide to define our persona from the interviews and mini experiments
Define our persona

Ideate and build
After we decided to nail down ‘coping with emotions’ and explore more in psychological process. we defined all information carried through an ideated session and came up with the ‘throwing bad things into space’ concept
Visual Design
There is a wide, boundless space inside of us. Some areas are empty, while others are chaotic.

Learn from feedbacks
At first, my team and I were so happy about the number of users using our product, we thought the product is successful in solving the problem, and we did well. But after we look closer into the data we correct from users, We found that most of our users can’t be kind to themselves, they can’t give a good word to themselves, can’t forgive what they have done.
So, we try to figure it out. The self-compassion is not enough for our target for now. they are not familiar with the concept also There is a lack of awareness of mental health issues.
Explore new opportunities
We did more research, and more sharing sessions with the professor, and therapist. and we found PFA was successfully implemented in other countries. I decided to take an online course from Jhon Hopkins university, I gained more aspects and understanding of several methods from the course. there is a possibility to bring knowledge about ‘mental first aid’ to Thai people because the method doesn’t require the learner to have any degree like a Bachelor of Science or be a Psychiatrist. It can be trained for anyone interested.
Concept Test
We needed to evaluate our idea and PFA service by testing with real users. So we designed the concept test called ‘Mind Listening Space’ Mind Listening Space is open for everyone who wants to vent or release bad feelings for free without giving personal data. The listener used psychological first-aid method to complete the session for 11 clients. I participated in the experiment as a listener too. It was amazing how listening to someone might help them become better.

I felt at ease throughout the session to discuss things I had been hesitant to bring up with anyone nearby.

I was able to understand myself better when there was someone help reflect my thoughts.

There was always someone willing to listen to me, I am not alone.

Developing solutions
Redesign Mental health first aid service which is able to fit into Thai culture. We collaborated with Mehug, mental health centers to create “Mind Listening service” which is implemented as an online service to make it easy to access, with affordable prices for every mental health status. Mindground also hosts online courses for people who want to work as Mind Listener and earn money on our platform.

Service blueprints
We decided to devide the online course into 2 courses :

1 Mind listening for Beginner
for everyone aware of mental health issues. The program is free!

2 Midn listening for Mindfriend
for people who wish to help others. enjoy doing a meaningful job.
Filming Mind listening course
After finishing all content and web design, in order to contribute to the team of developers, I must learn how to create front end for websites. Along the web development iteration, I quickly improve my HTML and CSS skills. I also gained a deeper understanding of the back end through close coordination with developers. I also learn how to use git hub effectively!
Key takeaway
Don’t study just to learn
but study to put what you learn into action.

In addition to the service, we aim to educate people on self-supporting skills. We believe that if people care for themselves well enough, they might be able to take care of their friends and family, too. This would bring our society to a place of greater kindness and love.💖
what I love and learn from mindground
Mindground taught me many valuable lessons. We are a small team with a lot of passion, knowledge, and fun.
♡ Trust made Mindground comfort. I learned to trust and to be trusted by the team.  We believe in delegating tasks without micromanaging and always supporting one another. It appears to me that we created this comfortable working environment. I am also proud of myself for gaining the trust of others. They rely on me to complete tasks even though I am not a professional in some domains, such as front-end development.
♡ The limitless Experiments made Mindground exciting and fun. We've got a small sandbox! We are always excited when a new idea comes from the design team, the development team, or the content creator. We always encourage one another to start experiments.
♡ Obstacles made Mindground more secure and precision. It does seem to be a long journey for me. Every solution and feature took time to work on. Some problems appear to be simple to solve in a day, but they took a week. This increased us cautiously about task management and risk prioritization.
Thank you for being here on our journey. 💖
